Our partner is routinely inspected by international regulatory authorities like FDA, Aifa and ANSM for GMP

In 2005 Farmigea identified in Indena a strategic partner for the development of its raw material extracted from tamarind tree (Tamarind Seed Polysaccharide - TSP). Today Indena is chosen by Farmigea for current products and for future projects. Four Indena plants work under cGMP and authorised for the production of APIs and they work under HACCP and authorised for the production of food ingredients.

Indena is routinely inspected by international regulatory authorities like FDA, Agenzia Italiana del Farmaco (AIFA) and Agence nationale de sécurité du médicament et des produits de santé (ANSM) for GMP compliance assessment, as well as by regulatory authorities for food safety compliance.

Since the 90s, Farmigea’s research has focused on natural products such as Tsp. From this attention comes a new international patent application filed by Farmigea as announced by research director Marco Sansò: "In 2018 we filed a new patent application, in 2019 we started the PCT process. This year we will submit another application"
